I have always enjoyed observing and interacting
with animals.    My interest in animal behavior
and learning theory grew while attending Hiram
College where I graduated in 1995 with a
degree in Psychobiology.  Since then, I have
worked for veterinarians and dog daycares and
volunteered in the Homeward Bound training
program at Geauga Humane Society from 2003
to 2010.  In addition, I have been a volunteer as
a puppy raiser and sitter for Guiding Eyes for the
Blind since 2008.  I am currently raising my third
puppy, Arrow, who joined our home in June
2016 at 8 weeks old.

I proudly became a Certified Professional Dog
Trainer (CPDT) in September, 2008. I am an
active member of the Association of Pet Dog
Trainers (APDT) and am committed to
continuing my education by attending seminars
about dog training and behavior annually.

In addition to my dog training career, I enjoy
running my busy household which includes my
husband, 2 sons, 8 year old yellow Lab, and 3
